The Digital Transformation of Vocational and Technical Education by UNESCO:Concept,Framework and Practice

Abstract
Digital transformation is an important issue in promoting the high-quality development and modernization of vocational and technical education in the digital age.UNESCO adheres to the four basic concepts of"demand driven""people-oriented""holistic change"and"quality and efficiency first",and creatively proposes a conceptual framework for the digital transformation of vocational and technical education,which includes four levels:technology and technicality,curriculum and qualifications,the use of technology for teaching and learning,and the contribution to sustainability and resilience.In practical actions,by building a collaborative governance system for the digital transformation of vocational and technical education,we can alleviate the"digital divide"in the field of digital infrastructure;grasp the new skills requirements of the labor market for teachers and students,and carry out digital skills enhancement training for vocational and technical education teachers;introduce emerging digital technologies and tools into the classroom,and combine them with new teaching methods to support the optimal use of these digital tools;and carry out the new social contract of vocational and technical education,promote vocational and technical education to become a carrier for promoting global sustainable development,and implement the concept and framework.关键词
