Abstract
Objective:To explore the impact of exercise intervention based on empowerment model for elderly patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD).Method:A total of 102 elderly patients with AD who admitted to Nantong Third People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 51 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given exercise intervention based on empowerment model on the basis of routine nursing.The motor function[Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)],cognitive function[Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA)],quality of life[World Health Organization quality of life-100(WHOQOL-100)]and self-care ability[exercise of self-care agency(ESCA)]were compared between two groups before intervention and 6 months after intervention(after intervention).Result:The FMA score,MoCA score,WHOQOL-100 score and ESCA score of the observation group after intervention were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Exercise intervention based on empowerment model for elderly patients with AD can effectively enhance motor function and cognitive functions,improve quality of life,and increase self-care ability.关键词
