跨境铁路建设能否促进区域产业升级?
Can cross-border railway construction promote regional industrial upgrading?

Abstract
Cross-border Railway links different types of economy and society and expands the market space from domestic and a-broad.Besides,it can promote the reorganization of various economic resources across time and space so that effectively stimulates the e-conomic development of regions along the lines.However,whether Cross-border Railway can promote regional industrial upgrading is an urgent problem to be explored in the theory and practice area.Based on the panel data of 274 prefecture-level cities in China from 2007 to 2019,this paper studied the promotion effect of Cross-border Railway represented by China-Europe Railway on regional in-dustrial upgrading of cities along the routes in China.The results showed that:① The China-Europe Express significantly promoted the regional industrial upgrading of the cities along the route in China,and it was stably established under PSM-DID,Ⅳ and placebo tests.② The China-Europe Express promoted regional industrial upgrading by promoting labor and capital accumulation on the supply side and expanding external market on the demand side.③ The promotion effect of Cross-border railways on regional industrial upgra-ding in western cities was higher than that in central cities,while the promotion effect of industrial upgrading in eastern cities was not significant.The promotion effect of regional industrial upgrading on non-inland free trade zone cities was higher than that in inland free trade zone cities.关键词
