Abstract
Pharmacokinetic studies play a crucial role in new drug discovery,as well as in preclinical and clinical research.Classical pharmacokinetic studies,based on plasma drug concentrations,rely on measuring drug levels in plasma biosamples and use mathematical models to describe or predict the pharmacokinetic processes of the drug.However,classical pharmacokinetic studies based on plasma drug concentrations often fail to fully explain the efficacy of certain veterinary drugs in specific target tissues,leading to discrepancies between pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.Cellular pharmacokinetics refines quantitative pharmacology to the cellular level,investigating the dynamic processes of drugs at the cellular scale,with the aim of providing a scientific basis and guidance for the development,evaluation,and use of veterinary drugs in the future.This paper reviews the current technological advancements in cellular pharmacokinetic research and its prospects for development in the field of veterinary pharmacology.关键词
