"Going Abroad"of Vocational Education Standards in China in the New Era:Value Dimensions,Practical Forms and Breakthrough Paths

摘要

Abstract

The"going abroad"of vocational education standards in China is an important practice in the context of educational opening-up.It holds significant value in promoting the deepening and expansion of international exchange and cooperation in vocational education,enhancing China's international discourse power and brand influence in the field,empowering the internationalization of Chinese enterprises and industries,and facilitating the establishment of a sustainable mechanism for running education abroad.Currently,the practice of China's vocational education standards"going abroad"mainly demonstrates three forms:constructing a hierarchical output network,synchronizing efforts in both traditional and emerging fields,and creating a collaborative community among governments,schools,and enterprises.However,there are several challenges to be addressed:insufficient legal and policy support,a weak alignment with the"going abroad"of national industrial capacity,difficulties in mutual recognition and alignment of domestic and international standards,an incomplete lifecycle safeguarding system,and quality risks in the promotion of standards.To overcome these challenges,the following breakthrough paths are proposed:enhancing awareness of standardization,establishing efficient coordination and collaboration mechanisms,deepening the connotation and adaptability of standards,strengthening the construction of a professional and international teaching workforce,and improving institutional safeguards and support systems.
