Abstract

In the flood peak flow of Manshui River Hydrological Station of Dashi River is 5 300 m3/s,ranking first in history.In order to re-analyze the flood inundation scenario,based on the HEC-RAS model,the evolution process of the"23·7"flood in the Dashi River Plain was simulated by field in-vestigation and satellite interpretation of the flood inundation range.The results showed that the simu-lated total inundation area of the Manshui River Hydrological Station to the provincial boundary was 77.38 km2.The simulated water level shows a negative deviation as a whole;the overall simulation error is controlled at 5%;after the implementation of the Dashi River improvement project and the Erdaohe Reservoir construction project,the submerged area of the Manshui River Hydrological Station to the provincial boundary will be reduced by 49%.The research results provide technical reference for river planning and design.
