Abstract
Affected by Typhoon Doksuri,the Haihe River Basin experienced the catastrophic"23·7"flood,resulting in significant casualties and property damage.An on-site investigation of water damage to river bridges and culverts in the mountainous areas of Beijing was conducted to summarize the types,causes,and patterns of such damages.Based on the characteristics of river bridges and culverts in mountainous areas,as well as the observed water damage patterns,countermeasures for the design of these structures in Beijing's mountainous regions were proposed.These recommendations focused on bridge location selection,the angle between the bridge and river,overall layout,foundation design,and railing design.The findings provide valu-able insights for post-disaster recovery,reconstruction,and infrastructure upgrading projects.关键词
