A Fast Algorithm for Geolocation of Three-axis Stabilization Geostationary Remote Sensing Satellite

Abstract
The three-axis stabilization geostationary remote sensing satellite has the characteristics of high time res-olution and plays an important role in the fields of weather forecasting and environmental monitoring.A fast image geolocation method for three-axis stabilization geostationary satellites is proposed by analyzing the conventional geo-location methods and CGMS nominal grid publishing format in this paper.Firstly,the initial incident view vector of each detector of the sensor is constructed.Then the outgoing vector of the payload coordinate system is obtained through the reflection of the east-west mirror and the north-south mirror of the satellite platform.Finally,the vector is converted to one in the satellite body coordinate system.Through the conversions of the satellite orbit coordinate system and the Earth-Fixed Coordinate System in turn,the mirror rotation angle under the ideal CGMS grid can be obtained,which can be converted to the only corresponding CGMS nominal grid position to complete the data posi-tioning.The algorithm omits the complex process of calculating the intersection point between the light vector and the geodetic ellipsoid sphere from the Earth-Fixed Coordinate System,and the computational efficiency is improved by 83.3%compared with that of the conventional geolocation method without losing the positioning accuracy.关键词
