On Ordered Porous ATO/Fe2O3 Composites With Controlled Light Absorption Properties

Abstract
ATO/Fe2O3 anti-opal structure photoanodes with high optical quality were prepared by atomic layer depo-sition(ALD)technique.This paper finds that the anti-opal structure significantly enhances the slow-light effect and improves the photoelectric conversion efficiency(IPCE).The precise matching of the photonic forbidden band with the wavelength of the Fe2O3 bandgap can be achieved by finely tuning the pore size.Compared with the disor-dered porous and planar structure of ATO/Fe2O3,the ordered porous structure of ATO/Fe2O3 photoanode signifi-cantly increases the photocurrent density and achieves a significant enhancement of IPCE performance in the wave-length range of 490-600 nm,providing a new pathway to improve the ability of photoelectrocatalytic decomposition of water.关键词
