A Study of Phase Transitions and Magnetocaloric Effects in Mn50-xCuxNi40Sn10 Alloys
摘要
Abstract
This study investigates the influence of partially substituting Mn with Cu on the crystal structure,phase transitions,and magnetic entropy change in high-Mn-content Mn50-xCuxNi40Sn10 alloys.The results indicate that the martensitic transformation temperature increases progressively with higher Cu content,which can be attributed to the rise in valence electron concentration.Moreover,the doping of Cu significantly sharpens the magnetic changes associated with the martensitic transformation,leading to a substantial enhancement of the magnetic entropy change.Notably,the Mn48Cu2Ni40Sn10 alloy exhibits a magnetic entropy change of 52.5 J/kg·K under a 5 T magnetic field.关键词
