Research on the Conservation Management Mechanism for Traditional Streets and Lanes:A Case of the Streets and Lanes Paved with Granite in the Historical Area of Guangzhou

Abstract
The streets paved with granite are important parts of Guangzhou traditional streets and lanes,and one of the base elements in the historical area of Guangzhou.Nowadays,the streets paved with granite in Guangzhou are back streets and inner lanes,and are managed by the streets or communities,which have the problems of low management level,weak strength,and so on.In addition,the management elements involved in the streets and lanes paved with granite are various,and are faced with the dilemma of management by multiple government departments.In order to achieve the accurate control and effective management of the streets and lanes paved with granite,through field investigation and interviews,data research,analysis and deduction,and other methods,the 6 modules and 30 elements of the spatial elements of the streets and lanes paved with granite and their corresponding management departments are clarified,and the approval process for maintenance and repair is sorted out.The paper also proposes to introduce the road director system and community designer system,to formulate the graded protection and repair guidelines for the streets and lanes paved with granite,and to connect with the approval process.关键词
