摘要

Abstract

Aiming at electromagnetic scattering modeling and SAR imaging simulation of the turning ship wake on rough sea surfaces,a composite model of the turning ship wake on sea surface is constructed based on the Kelvin ship wake generation theory and linear sea surface model.With faceted two-scale model,the coherent and incoherent scattering components of a facet are calculated using Kirchhoff approximation and perturbation model,respectively,and the scattering coefficients of each resolution cell in imaging scene are thus obtained using the faceted two-scale model.The scattering coefficient and SAR system impulse response function are convolved to obtain the echo signal of the imaging scene illuminated antenna beam,while a two-dimensional focused SAR image of the scene is obtained by using ωK imaging algorithm to focus the raw SAR echo signal.A comparison is made between simulated wake SAR images and TerraSAR-X measured SAR images,and the results show good similarity between the two images,verifying the effectiveness of electromagnetic scattering modeling and SAR imaging simulation the faceted two-scale model utilized in this paper.
