Abstract

In view of the unclear mechanical behavior of curved tunnels with different steering angles passing through strike-slip faults,taking the No.1 tunnel of Paomashan as the research background,the numerical model of curved tunnels with different steering angles passing through strike-slip faults is established by ABAQUS software,the mechanical behavior of curved tunnels passing through strike-slip faults is studied,and the damage index is introduced to evaluate the damage degree.The results show that under the action of strike-slip fault,the deformation,shear force,axial force and bending moment distribution trends of curved tunnel can be divided into two types according to whether the steering angle is greater than 90°:when the steering angle is less than 90°,the distribution trend of shear force and axial force of curved tunnel is similar to that of linear tunnel;while the steering angle is greater than 90°,the peak value of axial force of curved tunnel exists between 45° and 70°.The compression damage of curved tunnel is mainly concentrated near the fault,and the degree of compression damage increases with the increase of the steering angle,and there will be an obvious gap between the left and right sides of the curved tunnel;the curved tunnel with a steering angle of 180° is the most dangerous situation,and with the increase of the steering angle,the damage state near the tunnel entrance and exit will be more serious.
