摘要

Abstract

Isochlorogenic acid,a compound of di-caffeoylquinic acid,which has strong anti-inflammatory,an-ti-bacterial,anti-oxidant,anti-viral and other biological activities.It is widely present in higher dicotyledonous plants and ferns.As a feed additive to replace antibiotics,isochlorogenic acid can enhance the growth perform-ance of livestock and poultry,improve the immune and antioxidant capacity,in addition,it is also beneficial for improving the meat quality.In this paper,the structure,absorption and metabolism of isochlorogenic acid and its effects on the growth performance,antioxidant capacity,immune function,lipid metabolism and intesti-nal barrier of livestock and poultry were reviewed,in order to provide a theoretical basis for its application in livestock and poultry production.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2025,37(2):837-846]
