甘草茎叶与全株玉米混贮对西门塔尔牛生长性能、血清生化指标及肉品质的影响
Effects of Mixed Storage of Licorice Stems and Leaves and Whole Corn on Growth Performance,Serum Biochemical Indexes and Meat Quality of Simmental Cattle

Abstract
This experiment aimed to study the effects of mixed storage of licorice stem and leaf with whole plant corn on growth performance,serum biochemical indexes,and meat quality of Simmental cattle.A total of 48 well-conditioned Simmental cattle aged 18 to 20 months and weighing(550±10)kg were randomly divided into 4 groups,with 12 replicates per group and 1 cow per replicate.The control group was fed a basal diet,while test group Ⅰ replaced corn silage with 22%mixed silage(mass ratio of licorice stem and leaf to whole corn was 5∶5),test group Ⅱ replaced corn silage with 28%mixed silage,and test group Ⅲ replaced corn si-lage with 34%mixed silage.The pre-test period was 15 days,and the main test period was 60 days.The re-sults showed as follows:1)mixed silage had a certain promoting effect on the dry matter intake and average daily gain of beef cattle,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).2)Compared with the control group,the serum total protein content was significantly decreased in test groups Ⅰ and Ⅲ(P<0.01),the ac-tivity of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)was significantly increased in test group Ⅱ(P<0.05),and the activ-ity of aspartate aminotransferase(AST)was significantly increased in all test groups(P<0.01).The content of malondialdehyde(MDA)in test groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ,the activity of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)in test groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)in test group Ⅲ were significantly increased(P<0.01).3)The mixed silage had no significant effect on the pH45min,shear force,cooked meat rate,brightness(L*),and yellowness(b*)values of beef(P>0.05),but it could increase the redness(a*)(P<0.05).In conclusion,adding licorice stem and leaf and whole plant corn mixed silage to the basal diet for feeding Sim-mental beef cattle can promote the intake and daily weight gain of Simmental cattle,and improve meat quality.Through analysis of growth performance,serum biochemical indexes,and immune indicators,the study show that the best feeding effect is achieved when the addition of mixed silage is 28%.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2025,37(2):1082-1091]关键词
