补饲维生素E对育肥后期延边牛生长性能、养分表观消化率、肠道形态和肉品质的影响
Effects of Vitamin E Supplementation on Growth Performance,Nutrient Apparent Digestibility,Intestinal Morphology and Meat Quality of Yanbian Cattle in Late Fattening Period

Abstract
This experiment was conducted to study the effects of vitamin E supplementation on growth perform-ance,nutrient apparent digestibility,intestinal morphology and meat quality of Yanbian cattle in late fattening period.Twenty healthy Yanbian bulls aged of 20 months with similar body condition and initial body weight of(485±42)kg were randomly divided into control group and experimental group with 10 cattle in each group,and each cattle was raised in a single pen.Cattle in the control group were fed a basal diet,and those in the ex-perimental group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 700 IU vitamin E per day per cattle.The pre-trial period lasted for 10 days,and the experimental period lasted for 90 days.The results showed as follows:1)compared with the control group,the average daily gain(ADG)in experimental group was significantly in-creased(P<0.05).2)Compared with the control group,the apparent digestibilities of crude protein and ether extract in experimental group was significantly increased(P<0.05).3)Compared with the control group,the villus height of duodenum in experimental group was extremely significantly increased(P<0.01),the crypt depth was extremely significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the villus height to crypt depth ratio was extremely significantly increased(P<0.01).4)Compared with the control group,the muscle fiber diameter in experi-mental group was significantly decreased(P<0.05),the intramuscular fat content was extremely significantly increased(P<0.01),and the meat redness(a*)value was significantly increased(P<0.05).5)Compared with the control group,the activity of matrix metalloproteinase 13 in experimental group was significantly in-creased(P<0.05),and the vitamin E content was extremely significantly increased(P<0.01).6)Compared with the control group,the total volatile basic nitrogen content in experimental group was extremely significant-ly decreased at days 4,7,10 and 14 of storage period(P<0.01).In conclusion,700 IU/d vitamin E supple-mentation can increase the ADG and apparent digestibilities of CP and EE,improve duodenal morphology,and improve meat quality and freshness of Yanbian cattle in the late fattening period.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2025,37(2):1103-1113]关键词
