The Performance,Disadvantages and Governance Mechanism of Premature Data Financialization:From the Data Flow Logic Perspective

Abstract
Data resourcelization,assetization,and capitalization are the basic directions of data elementization and important steps to achieve the circu-lation and utilization of data.However,the long-term direction of development does not necessarily align with the current development path.Currently,in China,there is a trend towards accelerating the realization of data assetization and directly initiating capitalization-the emergence of premature finan-cialization of data.Premature financialization of data refers to the phenomenon of forcibly assigning financial attributes to data before it has been widely circulated and the value inherent in the data has been effectively released.Starting from the logic of data circulation,this paper outlines the drawbacks that premature financialization of data may bring about.Premature financialization of data may lead the digital economy astray from its original intention of empowering the real economy,making it difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to benefit from the data dividend,triggering new local debt bubbles,and even allowing data assets to be hijacked by international capital.This paper argues that there is a need to be highly vigilant about the emerging trends of premature financialization of data,carefully focus on the issue of data asset entry,avoid excessive promotion of data capitalization,accelerate the orderly advancement of authorized operation of public data,construct a"public data pool"to promote the openness of public data,and vigorously promote the exploration of data scenarios.关键词
