Policy Progress,Advantage Potentials and Recommendations for Megacities to Take the Lead in Promoting Common Prosperity:A Case Study of Shanghai

Abstract
Megacities take the lead in economic development and social governance,providing an example and advanced experience for all regions in China to promote common prosperity.In order to promote common prosperity,Shanghai has made great progress in improving the quality of employ-ment,narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas,improving the level of social security and promoting the method of philanthropy.At the same time,Shanghai has advantages of solid system guarantee,huge talent dividend,huge middle-income group size and advanced agricultural and rural modernization in optimizing income distribution pattern.However,Shanghai still faces imbalances and inadequacies in its development process.In or-der to better play a leading and exemplary role in promoting common prosperity,Shanghai needs to continue to make efforts in improving the quality and expansion of the middle-income group,continuously narrowing various income gaps,improving the level of equalization of basic public services,and optimizing the development environment of charitable undertakings.关键词
