Risks,Challenges and Responses of China's Automotive Industry in the Second Half of Intelligent Competition

Abstract
The automobile industry is entering the"second half"of competition,with intelligence at its core.Although China's production and sales of automobiles have ranked first globally,making it the world's largest automobile exporter,certain weaknesses in China's automobile industry have gradually emerged.These include risks of market-level overcapacity,limited sustainability in overseas market growth,and the"lack of key technology"in product and technology capabilities.Additionally,China's lead in electrification,intelligence,and Internet connectivity is not yet prominent,and cross-border collaborative innovation in the field of intelligent new energy vehicles remains insufficient.These issues have become key obstacles preven-ting China's automobile industry,especially the new energy vehicle sector,from taking a lead in the latter stage of competition.To seize the opportuni-ties in the"second half"of the new energy vehicle market,China should take practical and effective measures by promoting a national brand strategy for the automobile industry,planning a national system for mergers and acquisitions in the automotive sector,strengthening technical research and for-ward-looking technology planning,enhancing cross-border collaborative innovation systems,and accelerating the demonstration and application of intel-ligent new energy vehicles.关键词
