Application of Silicone Gel Combined with Recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor Gel in Scar Repair After Laser Nevus Removal Surgery in Children

Abstract
Objective:To probe into the application value of silicone gel combined with recombinant human epidermal growth factor gel in scar repair after laser nevus removal surgery in children.Methods:A total of 74 children undergoing laser nevus removal surgery in our hospital from Jun.2023 to Jun.2024 were extracted to be divided into the control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 37 cases in each group.The control group was treated with silicone gel,while the observation group received silicone gel combined with recombinant human epidermal growth factor gel.The effects of scar repair,wound healing,scab formation and scab shedding time of two groups were observed,and the score and satisfaction of Scar Cosmesis Assessment and Raiting(SCAR)were compared between two groups.Results:After surgery of three months,the total effective rate of scar repair in observation group was 94.59％(35/37),higher than 70.27％(26/37)in control group(P＜0.05).The wound healing time,scab formation time and scab shedding time in observation group were shorter than those in control group(P＜0.05).After treatment of three months,the SCAR score of both groups decreased significantly,and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).The satisfaction rate of families of children in observation group was 97.30％(36/37),higher than 78.38％(29/37)in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Silicone gel combined with recombinant human epidermal growth factor gel can effectively promote scar repair after laser nevus removal surgery in children,shorten the time of wound healing and recovery,improve the cosmetic effect of postoperative scar repair,and further enhance the satisfaction of families of children with scar repair.关键词
