滇中人工林土壤的斥水性及其对土壤理化性质的响应
Soil hydrophobicity in different artificial forests in central Yunnan and its correlation with the physicochemical properties of soil

Abstract
To investigate the spatial characteristics and influencing mechanisms of soil hydrophobicity in central Yunnan,surface soils(0-10 cm)from three typical plantations(Eucalyptus globulus plantation,Platycladus orientalis plantation,and E.globulus and Platycladus orientalis mixed plantations)in Kunming with three levels of shrub herbosa coverage(low,medium,and high)were studied.Soil hydrophobicity was assessed using the water drop penetration time method,along with measurements of soil physicochemical properties.Path analysis was applied to identify key factors to investigate the response characteristics of soil hydrophobicity to variations in herbaceous coverage and soil physicochemical properties.The results showed that soil hydrophobicity was strongest in E.globulus plantation,with average water drop penetration time(t)values 1.6-2.7 times higher than those of the mixed plantation and Platycladus orientalis plantation.Overall,the soils in all three forest types were classified as non-water-repellent(t<5 s),with some samples showing slight water-repellence(5 s≤t<60 s).Within one forest type,t values showed no significant differences among the different cover levels;however,under all three cover levels,t values for Platycladus orientalis plantations were significantly lower than E.globulus and mixed forests(P<0.01).Correlation and path analyses indicated that soil pH value,hydrolyzed nitrogen content,volume water content,and shrub herbosa coverage are the main environmental factors influencing soil hydrophobicity;hydrolyzed nitrogen content and volume water content primarily influence soil hydrophobicity through direct effects,while pH value and shrub herbosa coverage exert their influence mainly through indirect effects.Soil physicochemical properties directly affect soil hydrophobicity,whereas forest type and shrub herbosa coverage indirectly influence soil hydrophobicity by modulating some of the soil physicochemical properties such as soil pH value,volume water content,and hydrolyzed nitrogen content.关键词
