Abstract
Based on the CAD-CFX joint calculation method,the flow field distribution and hydraulic characteristics analysis in the elbow contraction zone of the inlet channel of the Huai'an Second Station Phase II pump gate project were carried out under different design shapes.The results indicate that as the radius of the inner circle in the elbow contraction zone of the flow channel increases,the horizontal flow velocity decreases.However,design schemes with excessively large or too small inner circle radii can lead to inconsistent flow velocity vector directions inside and outside the contraction zone.As the radius of the inner circle increases,the pressure difference between the upper and lower pressure fields in the contraction zone decreases,and the pressure field gradient difference weakens.By introducing three hydraulic parameters:channel head loss,flow velocity uniformity,and weighted average angle of inlet water flow,it is believed that a radius of 1.2m within the contraction zone of the channel is most suitable,which helps to control the safety of channel operation and seepage stability.关键词
