Research and design of multi-depth resistivity antenna array while drilling

Abstract
In response to the pressing demand for resistivity detection while drilling in oil and gas exploration and devel-opment,as well as the urgent need for independent research and development of domestic resistivity-while-drilling tool,this study investigates the structure of a multi-depth resistivity while drilling antenna array.A design scheme for a compensatory multi-depth and multi-frequency resistivity-while-drilling antenna structure is proposed.Utilizing numerical simulation methods,the detection characteristics of the tool are investigated and parameters are opti-mized.This design enabled formation resistivity measurements at various depths while also facilitating symmetrical resistivity compensation measurements to mitigate the adverse effects of borehole and working conditions.By emplo-ying different source spacing and frequency measurement combinations,it provides more abundant and accurate in-formation on formation resistivity.Additionally,it also has a good vertical resolution regarding formations and high detection capability for thin bed and thin interbed.This study has certain reference value for the independent re-search and development of the resistivity logging tool while drilling in China,and it also has important practical sig-nificance for the development of oil and gas resources in complex formations,especially in thin interbed.关键词
