摘要

Abstract

The double-break vacuum circuit breaker can remarkably reduce the re-strike probability and improve the performance of switching the capacitor bank during capacitive current switching period by way of sufficiently us-ing the perfect insulation performance of short vacuum gap.In this paper,the pre-strike characteristics,in including pre-strike voltage,pre-strike clearance and its dispersion of the double-break vacuum circuit breaker in the case of using grading capacitance and resistance,is studied by experiment and its Weibull distribution is calculated.The study result shows that no matter how the voltage amplitude is,the high-voltage resistance can mitigate the break-down process by obstructing the discharge current flowing from the grading capacitor to the vacuum interrupter,and considerably enhance the pre-strike characteristics of the double-break vacuum circuit breaker.As for such two resis-tance and compactness grading modes as serial resistor and bridge resistor,the latter can reduce the number of resis-tors used in a circuit,thereby decreasing both cost and volume of the circuit breaker and,at the same time,helping to improve heat dissipation of the vacuum circuit breakers during operation.The study result presented in this paper can provide technical support for reducing the electrical dispersion angle and improving the phase-controlled making accuracy of the double-break vacuum circuit breaker.
