Abstract

In recent years,with the wide application and improvement of voltage level of GIS,the transient ground potential rise(TEV)on the GIS enclosure due to conduction and coupling of the steep wave-front overvoltage(VF-TO)generated by the switching operation is becoming more and more threatening to the safety of power station equipment and operating personnel.Therefore,accurate simulation and calculation of TEV is of great significance to the analysis of TEV characteristics and the determination of protective measures.In the TEV calculation model,the ground network model with large electrical size and complex structure is the key to ensure the calculation accu-racy.In this paper,a method for setting up the ground network broadband calculation model based on vector fitting method and Cdegs simulation software is proposed by way of studying the TEV characteristics of the ground network under various working conditions and combining with the black box theory of the circuit.The rationality of the ground network broadband calculation model is verified by relying on the 330 kV GIS disconnector simulation dis-turbance source experiment platform.The main frequency calculation error of the TEV is 5.9%,and the calculation error of TEV amplitude is 13.15%,proving that the ground network broadband calculation model set up by this meth-od has high simulation accuracy.
