Game Culture Communication and National Image Construction:A Case Study of"Black Myth:Wukong"

Abstract
As a newly emerging medium for cultural communication,video games inherit the interactive cultural framework established by the internet and other new media while continuously innovating to a-chieve self-sublimation and expansion.The formation of the gaming industry has not only catalyzed rapid economic development but also opened new frontiers for the widespread dissemination of culture and the establishment of group identity.High-quality video games create immersive experiences that showcase a nation's cultural creativity and embody its humanistic spirit.Their cutting-edge technologies reflect the comprehensive strength of national scientific and technological capabilities,while their rich cultural con-notations highlight the unique charm and aesthetic sophistication inherent in national culture.Taking"Black Myth:Wukong"as an example,this study delves into the distinctive advantages of video games as cross-cultural communication media.It explores the intricate relationship between game culture dissemi-nation and national image shaping,proposing that domestic games should strive to bridge cultural differ-ences,persist in technological innovation,amplify the influence of national symbols,balance commercial interests with cultural values,and elevate China's cultural communication efforts alongside its national image construction to unprecedented heights.关键词
