Influence of injector structure parameters on fuel injection quantity fluctuation under multiple injections

Abstract
To investigate the influence of fuel injection quantity fluctuations on the performance of diesel engines un-der multi-injection conditions,this study aims to investigate the mechanisms and key influencing factors of these fluctuations.An AMESim simulation model of a common rail fuel injector was established and validated using ex-perimental data on fuel injection patterns and pressure fluctuations.Theoretical studies were conducted to examine the influence of key structural parameters on the main fuel injection quantity.The results indicate that the length and inner diameter of the high-pressure oil pipe are significant factors influencing fluctuations in the main fuel injec-tion quantity,with these fluctuations mainly occurring during the main injection stage of the premain injection strat-egy.An increase in the needle valve lift leads to a higher main fuel injection quantity.However,this increase de-creases as the lift increases.While the nozzle diameter directly affects fluctuations in the main fuel injection quanti-ty,its influence on pressure fluctuations caused by pre-injection is minimal.Changes in the diameters of the OA and OZ holes significantly influence pressure fluctuations during the pre-injection stage,which in turn affects the fuel injection quantity,especially during the rising stage of fuel injection rate.关键词
