Abstract
Facing the urgent needs of urban ecological construction and sustainable development in the Huaihe River Basin,in the paper a comprehensive evaluation model is constructed based on case study of the Beautifying the Huaihe River Project in Bengbu.This model aims to provide a quantitative assessment tool for urban ecological construction and sustainable development in the Huaihe River Basin by establishing a scientific assessment index system and selecting appropriate assessment methods.Firstly,the paper analyzes the main problems before the construction of the project,including insufficient flood control and drainage capacity,natural ecological environment damage,traffic congestion along the river and lack of public service function,and puts forward the corresponding construction strategies.By applying the comprehensive index method and the hierarchical analysis method,the comprehensive evaluation results of each index are calculated.The research shows that the implementation of the"Beautifying the Huaihe River Project"has a significant effect on improving the flood control and drainage capacity of the Huaihe River basin,restoring the natural ecological environment,optimizing the traffic along the river and enhancing the public service function.The evaluation model can provide scientific basis for government decision-making and planning,and promote the urban ecological construction and sustainable development in the Huaihe River Basin.关键词
