Abstract
Since its completion in 2007,the Xixiayuan Regulating Reservoir has experienced the application of"low water level,large flow,high sediment concentration,and long duration"for many times,which leads to the damage of the upstream reservoir bottom and flood releasing and sediment discharge structures of the powerhouse dam section in different degrees.After many repairs,the scouring damage cannot be fundamentally solved.The paper analyzes the causes and trends of scouring damage,refers to the scouring damage and silt control measures of other projects on sediment laden rivers such as the Yellow River,and proposes a combination of anti scouring piles and Naite gabions in front of the dam to block the discharge of upstream bed load and protect the riverbed in front of the dam from being scoured.The project was completed at the end of May 2024.After the Yellow River water and sediment regulation in June and July,the underwater inspection showed that the structures are in good condition,and the scour control measures can be used as a reference for other similar projects.关键词
