摘要

Abstract

Sludge with high moisture content is the unavoidable by-product in wastewater biological treatment process.The key process to enhance the efficiency of sludge resource utilization and energy recovery is the efficient reduction of sludge through deep dewatering.As an essential component of sludge,extracellular polymeric substances(EPS)play an extremely important role in determining sludge dewaterability.Research on the interfacial chemistry of EPS affecting sludge water transformation formed the priority content and theoretical basis for the current development of sludge enhanced dewatering technology.Thus,based on the micro-interface theory of EPS regulation for enhancing sludge dewaterability,EPS-dominated sludge water occurrence states and the directions for regulating the efficient release of sludge-bound water,as well as the research and progress of conditioning technology were systematically introduced,and the opportunities and challenges for further knowledge on EPS structural properties were pointed out,with a view to providing references for process innovation in sludge deep dewatering.
