Accurately measuring radiation dose of UV reactors to ensure the UV disinfection reliability
摘要
Abstract
UV disinfection is a green,efficient,and environmentally safe method widely used for water treatment.However,its rapid adoption in China has led to a lack of understanding among practitioners,resulting in poor reliability.This study introduced the key concept of UV fluence and its application in both laboratory and engineering settings.It also reviewed optical detector methods,chemical actinometer methods,and biological dosimeter methods,comparing their advantages,disadvantages,and practical applications.Additionally,it discussed three main issues in UV disinfection:Lack of widespread understanding,inaccuracies in testing methods,and deficiencies in long-term monitoring.These insights aimed to enhance the reliability of UV disinfection in water treatment,and providing a comprehensive perspective for practitioners.关键词
