摘要

Abstract

In order to identify suitable varieties of Paeonia Itoh Hybrids for landscaping applications in Xuzhou,the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)was employed to evaluate the performance of 35 introduced varieties based on their adaptability,plant growth characteristics,and ornamental traits.The results showed that the weights of disease tolerance,heat resistance,flower color,flower diameter,and green leaf period were higher than those of other indices,with values of 0.183,0.166,0.145,0.091,and 0.078,respectively.Based on the comprehensive evaluation scores,the 35 varieties were classified into four grades.Among them,seven varieties,including'Hillary''Duchesse de Lorraine''Bartzella''Oochigeas''Prairie Charm''Unique'and'Scrumdidleumptious'were classified as Grade Ⅰ.While nine varieties,including'Lemon Dream'、'Impossible Dream''Pink Double Dandy''Sonoma Sun''Singing in the Rain''First Arrival''Caroline constabel''Kopper Kettle'and'Cora Louise'were classified as Grade Ⅱ.The comprehensive evaluation system established using the Analytic Hierarchy Process effectively assessed and classified the introduced Paeonia Itoh hybrids,and the selected 16 varieties were found to be well-suited for landscaping in Xuzhou Region.
