Abstract
Objective To assess the discharge readiness of patients with traumatic fractures and to construct a structural equation modeling to elucidate the pathways through which various factors influence discharge readiness in these patients.Methods A convenience sample of 271 patients with traumatic fractures admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhe-jiang Chinese Medical University from January 2022 to January 2023.Participants were evaluated using a general information questionnaire,the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scales,the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale,the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire,the Social Support Rating Scale,and the Nurse-administered Psychological Rating Scale of Early Acci-dental Trauma.The structural equation modeling was constructed using Amos 26.0 software to analyze the factors influen-cing discharge readiness.Results The Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scales score for patients with traumatic fractures was 87.82±12.32.Path analysis revealed that positive coping(β=0.341)had a significant direct positive impact on dis-charge readiness,while negative coping(β=-0.121)had a significant direct negative impact.Social support(β=0.753)and psychological resilience(β=0.420)exerted significant indirect effects on discharge readiness.Early psychological status had both a significant direct negative effect(β=-0.563)and a significant indirect positive effect(β=0.084)on discharge readiness.Conclusion Patients with traumatic fractures exhibit moderate levels of discharge readiness.Positive coping and negative coping have direct effects on discharge readiness,social support and psychological resilience have indirect effects,and early psychological status has both direct and indirect effects on discharge readiness.关键词
