Bringing Governance Back:The Theoretical Paradigm Revolution of Democracy
摘要
Abstract
From a fundamental perspective,the governance of political community belongs to the conceptual category of de-mocracy,which is the inherent attribute of democracy and the core issue of classical democratic theory.However,the para-digm of the Western liberal democratic theory that has been popular since the mid-20th century has separated governance from the conceptual category of democracy,and been universalized in a scientific manner.So that the liberal democratic theory has been some shortcomings of the disconnect between theory and practice,such as the denial of other democratic practice models,logical contradiction and lack of explanatory power.Therefore,the theoretical paradigm of governance de-mocracy brings governance back into the theoretical paradigm of democracy and brings governance back into scope of de-mocracy in order to transcend the liberal democratic theoretical paradigm.In the theoretical paradigm of governance democ-racy,the basic value norm is effective governance of a political community that means safeguarding and realizing the funda-mental interests of the majority of community members.And under the basic value norm,the basic practical elements in-clude the multi-domain nature of governance practice,the diversity of governance subjects,the diversity of governance means,and the evaluability of governance performance.关键词
