数字经济背景下中国对金砖国家直接投资的影响因素与潜力研究
A Study on the Influencing Factors and Potential of Chinese Direct Investment in the BRICS Countries in the Context of Digital Economy

Abstract
Since their establishment,the BRICS countries have always adhered to multilateralism,providing a broad stage for emerging market countries and developing countries to participate in multilateral dialogue and cooperation.With the for-mal accession of Saudi Arabia,Egypt,the United Arab Emirates,Iran and Ethiopia,the BRICS countries have increasingly grown into an important force in promoting economic globalization and cooperation and world economic growth.In the con-text of the rapid development of the digital economy,it is of great significance to explore the influencing factors and invest-ment potential of China's direct investment in the BRICS countries from the perspective of the investment characteristics of host country,for strengthening deep cooperation in various fields such as industry,science and technology,economy and trade,and building mechanisms for foreign exchange and cooperation.This paper empirically analyzes the influencing fac-tors and investment potential of China's direct investment in the BRICS countries based on the panel data of the ten BRICS countries from 2010-2021,using the extended gravity model.The results show that:(1)China's direct investment in the BRICS countries is affected by various factors,among which the economic vitality of the home country,the digitalization level of the host country,the market size,the resource endowment,the freedom of investment and the bilateral trade vol-ume can effectively attract China's direct investment,whereas the host country's level of inflation and the geographic dis-tance between the two countries significantly inhibit China's direct investment in them.(2)There is a significant differ-ence in China's investment potential in the BRICS countries,with a higher proportion of partner countries that can continue to invest and those can be invested in,which indicates that there is huge potential for China's direct investment in BRICS countries.关键词
