The Impact of Digital Economy on Marine Green Total Factor Productivity

Abstract
In the wave of digitalization in the 21st century,digital economy has emerged as a no-vel catalyst for global economic development,and its impact on marine green total factor pro-ductivity has received widespread attention from all walks of life.Based on panel data from coastal areas from 2011 to 2020,this paper explored the impact of the digital economy on marine green total factor productivity from theoretical and empirical perspectives.The findings revealed that digital economy substantially enhanced marine green total factor productivity.It exerted a positive influence on the marine green total factor productivity of the coastal areas south of the Yangtze River basin,whereas its impact on the coastal areas north of the Yangtze River basin is insignificant.In areas with stronger environmental regulations,the effect was more significant.By improving marketization and optimizing the marine industrial structure,digital economy promoted marine total factor productivity.The conclusions of this article are of great significance for releasing the dividends of digital economy and fostering the development of the marine economy.关键词
