Diagnosis and Treatment Experience of the Menghe School of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Spleen and Stomach Diseases Based on the Three Categories of Etiological Factors System

Abstract
The Menghe School of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is represented by the four great master families:Fei,Ma,Chao,and Ding.It places special emphases on the diagnosis and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases,with the most cured clinical cases and the most complete academic thoughts on spleen and stomach diseases recorded in the relevant books.Spleen and stomach diseases refer to a group of specific diseases caused by the dysfunction of spleen and stomach in ascending,descending,transportation,and transformation,including chronic atrophic gastritis,functional dyspepsia,irritable bowel syndrome,and constipation.In modern medicine,the occurrence and development of spleen and stomach diseases are believed to be related to the geographical area,emotion,environment,and depression.The three categories of etiological factors system is the specific requirement and embodiment of individualized diagnosis and treatment.This paper discusses the clinical experience of the Menghe School of TCM in treating spleen and stomach diseases based on the three categories of etiological factors system,aiming to inherit and develop the Menghe School of TCM and provide new ideas and directions for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases.关键词
