Application effect of Hexue Mingmu Tablets combined with Conbercept and retinal laser photocoagulation in treating early proliferative diabetic retinopathy

Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of Hexue Mingmu Tablets combined with Compaercept and retinal laser photocoagulation on patients with early proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR).Methods A total of 60(60 eyes)PDR patients admitted to Shangrao Central Hospital from January 2020 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table method,with 30 cases(30 eyes)in each group.The control group received Compacept and retinal laser photocoagulation therapy,and the treatment group was supplemented with oral Hexue Mingmu Tablets.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),central macular thickness(CMT)and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score were compared between the two groups.Results The BC-VA of the two groups 1 and 3 months after treatment were higher than that before treatment,and the BCVA of the treatment group 3 months after treatment was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).CMT and traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores of two groups 1 and 3 months after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and CMT and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of two groups 3 months after treatment were lower than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no significant dif-ferences in BCVA,CMT and traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores between the two groups after 1 month of treatment(P＞0.05).Conclusion Hexue Mingmu Tablets combined with Compaercept and retinal laser photocoagulation can effec-tively treat early PDR patients,improve visual acuity,alle-viate macular edema and improve traditional Chinese medicine syndromes.关键词
