Awareness of contract service of family doctors of rural residents in Shaoguan City and its influencing factors

Abstract
Objective To investigate the awareness of rural residents of family doctor contracted service in Shaoguan City and explore its influencing factors,so as to provide theoretical basis for further improving the quality of family doctor team service.Methods Using the method of simple random sampling,a self-made questionnaire was used to investigate 455 per-manent rural residents in Datang Road Community of Shaoguan City from October to December 2023 to calculate their awareness of family doctor contracted service.Single factor analysis and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze its influencing factors.Results The results of univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the awareness of family doctor service contract among residents of different ages and whether they had chronic diseases(P＜0.05).The results of multivariate analysis showed that age was an independent influencing factor for rural residents'awareness of family doctor contracted services,30-60 years old(β=-0.691 3,OR=0.610,95％CI:0.356-1.045,P=0.003)and residents over 60 years old(β=0.887 8,OR=2.957,95％CI:1.158-7.553,P=0.006)were 0.610 and 2.957 times more likely to contract with family doctors than those under 30 years old.Residents with chronic diseases were 1.682 times more likely to contract with family doctors than those without chronic diseases,but the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.059).Conclusion Rural residents in Shaoguan City,especially the young and middle-aged group,have a low aware-ness rate of family doctor contracted services.It is necessary to increase publicity efforts for key groups and accelerate the construction of the platform,so as to improve the quality of family doctor services.关键词
