Abstract
Objective To investigate the health literacy level status of residents aged 15-69 in Wuhan in 2022,and to pro-vide evidence for targeted health education.Methods A total of 5 497 permanent residents aged 15-69 in Wuhan in 2022 were selected by multi-stage stratified random sampling to conduct a household questionnaire survey.Data on gender,age,education level,occupation,chronic disease and self-perceived health status were collected to investigate the health literacy level of residents and the literacy level of six types of health problems.Results A total of 5 301 valid questionnaires were collected.In 2022,the health literacy level of Wuhan residents was 35.80％.Among the three aspects of health literacy,the basic skill literacy was the lowest,only 33.16％,the healthy lifestyle and behavior literacy was 41.22％,and the basic health knowledge and concept literacy was 48.22％.There were statistically significant differences in the health literacy levels of residents with different age,education level,occupation,whether they suffer from chronic diseases and different self-per-ceived health status(P＜0.05).Among the six types of health problem literacy level of Wuhan residents,safety and first aid was 65.29％,scientific health concepts was 64.78％,health information was 48.50％,chronic disease prevention was 39.78％,basic medical treatment was 36.62％,and infectious disease prevention and treatment was 34.14％.There were sta-tistically significant differences in the six types of problem literacy level among residents of different ages,educational levels,occupations and self-perceived health status(P＜0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the level of scien-tific health concept,infectious disease prevention and control,safety and first aid,basic medical treatment and health infor-mation literacy of residents with or without chronic diseases(P＜0.05).Conclusion The overall health literacy level of resi-dents aged 15-69 in Wuhan in 2022 is relatively high,but there are great differences in health literacy level among different population characteristics,and the development of residents'literacy level is unbalanced.关键词
