Abstract
Amiodarone is a commonly used medication for the treatment of arrhythmias,however,during its application,it has been observed that amiodarone exerts a significant irritant effect on peripheral blood vessels,which may lead to chemical phlebitis.The occurrence of phlebitis can impact the treatment of patients.Therefore,this paper analyzes the causes of amiodarone-induced chemical phlebitis from three perspectives:drug-related factors,nursing-related factors,and patient-related factors.It also reviews specific prevention and nursing methods,including the rational preparation of the drug solution,protective venipuncture,controlling the duration of continuous infusion,increasing the flushing volume,managing venous blood reflux,local application of vasodilators,prophylactic medications,and standardized health education.Furthermore,the paper summarizes the recent advances in the prevention of amiodarone-induced chemical phlebitis,aiming to provide a basis for clinical healthcare professionals to develop targeted interventions against amiodarone-induced chemi-cal phlebitis during intravenous administration.关键词
