Experimental study on mechanical performance of steel concealed bracing concert composite shear walls with concrete-filled steel tube end columns

Abstract
In order to study the mechanical performance of the new composite shear wall used in the project of China National Convention Center Ⅱ,to propose a component design method suitable for engineering practice,and to verify the structural safety,a scale quasi-static test was carried out on the high steel content steel concealed bracing concert composite shear walls with concrete-filled steel tube end columns which were used in the project.Taking the high steel content(15.36%)of composite shear wall,the form of end column(steel reinforced concrete,concrete-filled column)and the layout form of steel bracing(one-way,cross)as the main parameters,five groups of 15 specimens were made.The test results show that:By increasing the steel content and arranging steel bracing in the wall,the development of wall cracks can be delayed,and the horizontal through cracks can be prevented from appearing too early,improving the bearing capacity and stiffness of the specimens.Compared with conventional steel reinforced concrete end columns,there is no significant difference in the stiffness and bearing capacity of the composite wall with concrete-filled steel tube end columns.The arrangement of one-way steel bracing has a certain impact on the bearing capacity,stiffness and failure mode of members.The skeleton curve shows tension compression asymmetry,and the bearing capacity of and the concrete-filled steel tube end column is not fully utilized.The opening of the wall has a certain impact on the bearing capacity,stiffness,and failure mode of the composite wall.Based on quasi-static experimental research and the theoretical foundation of STM(strut-and-tie model),a STM method based on specimen crack distribution was proposed to analyze the stress mechanism of composite walls and estimate the horizontal bearing capacity.Based on the existing design standards for composite structures,a simplified design method for the shear bearing capacity of steel concealed bracing concert composite shear walls with concrete-filled steel tube end columns with high steel content was proposed to guide the engineering design,which could give instructions on engineering design.关键词
