Abstract

To solve green reinforcement of masonry structures,a prefabricated reinforcement method using equivalent beam-column and prefabricated concrete panels was proposed.11 quasi-static tests were conducted to study the effects of dowel materials,single/double sided reinforcement,beam-column material and form,and concrete panels position on the seismic performance.The reinforcement suggestions were proposed.Test results show that the failure mode of reinforced walls is shear-compression failure.Compared to the unreinforced masonry wall,the bearing capacity,ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the double-sided reinforced wall with screw and angle steel are increased by 98%,200%and 1 300%,respectively.The initial stiffness and energy dissipation of the wall reinforced with steel strand are slightly higher than those of the wall reinforced with screw dowel.The reinforcement effect of single-sided reinforced walls is about 65%of that of double-sided reinforced walls,while the reinforcement effect of the walls reinforced with non-equivalent columns is about 40%of that of walls reinforced with angle steel.It is recommended to prioritize the double-sided reinforcement method with screw dowel,and the material and form of equivalent columns should be determined according to the service environment and construction conditions.
