A Gurobi-based integrated waveform optimization design method for radar-communication

Abstract
In order to solve the problem of high complexity of waveform design algorithm in Dual-Functional Radar-Communication(DFRC)system,a low complexity solution based on Gurobi is proposed.Firstly,a DFRC system model is constructed,with the total power of the waveform and the similarity to the reference radar signal as constraints and the downstream Multi-User Interference(MUI)energy minimized as the optimization goal.Then,optimization solver Gurobi is used to solve the above non-convex quadratic constrained quadratic program-ming problem.Finally,the communication and radar performance of the DFRC system are given a tradeoff design through weight factors.Simulation results show that under the same signal-to-noise ratio condition,the total trans-mission rate of the proposed method is 75%higher than that of singular value decomposition(SVD)method,with a significant reduction in complexity,and that the proposed method can achieve the function of communicating be-tween users while detecting targets.关键词
