摘要

Abstract

External radiation source detection has the advantages of concealment,low power consumption,low cost,anti-attack and so on.Passive LIDAR is limited by the de-coherence caused by free space transmission,and it is difficult to extract the definite phase correlation from direct non-cooperative signal and echo signal.A method of estab-lishing the correlation between direct wave and echo based on the intensity fluctuation correlation of thermal light is pre-sented in this paper,which does not depend on the phase information of electromagnetic wave.On the basis of such cor-relation,the principle and feasibility of target ranging by external radiation sources such as sunlight and blackbody radia-tion are analyzed for the first time.Finally,the target ranging based on blackbody radiation as external source is achieved under laboratory conditions,and the technical problems to be solved in the future are pointed out.Passive rang-ing by external radiation source based on the intensity fluctuation correlation of light field is a low-cost and efficient detection technology,which is worth developing vigorously.In the future,it is expected to break through the relevant technical bottlenecks to establish the sunlight or thermal radiation as the external ranging system,which has great appli-cation prospects in the field of vehicle passive radar,thermal imager direct ranging,deep space target ranging and other fields.
