Abstract

A shield tunnel in Suzhou under the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway was selected as the background,and the mixing pile was used to strengthen the subgrade during the construction of the expressway.The correctness of the simulation calculation method using Midas/GTS numerical software was verified by the actually measured results.The effects of different driving parameters,different cement-soil-reinforcement range and double-line shield tunneling on subgrade deformation were analyzed.Peck formula was used to calculate the width coefficient(i)of the settling trough after the right line of shield was 8.13 m,and the measured value was 8 m.The maximum settlement(Smax)was theoretically calculated to be 8.41 mm,and the measured value was 7.48 mm.There was little difference between theoretical formula calculation and actual measurement values,and the difference between numerical simulation and actual measurement results was also small.The variation of working face pressure and synchronous grouting pressure had great influence on the deformation of subgrade,but the change of jack thrust had little influence on the deformation of subgrade.The attenuation of maximum subgrade settlement decreased with the increase of tunnel depth.The maximum settlement of subgrade decreased with the increase of cement-soil-solid strength.It decreased with the increase of cement-soil reinforcement length and depth.When the solidity body are reinforced to a length of 87.5 m and a depth of 6 m,it could meet the requirements of subgrade deformation.In addition to reducing the deformation of the subgrade by strengthening the soil layer,when the subgrade had a slightly large settlement,the pressure of the soil bin could be increased to resist the soil in front of the subgrade,reducing the deformation.Secondly,the excavation speed of the shield should not be too fast,because too fast speed increased the disturbance range of the cutterhead on the soil and caused a long time of consolidation settlement,which is not conducive to deformation control.Thirdly,the use of mud efficiency construction method during the underpass also reduced the formation loss to achieve the purpose of subgrade deformation control.Finally,the reasonable secondary grouting pressure and grouting amount could also reduce the deformation of the subgrade,but it should be timely adjusted according to the monitoring data,but this was generally in a small number of times,avoiding excessive grouting amount affecting the force shape of the pipe segment and formation deformation.
