Abstract

Taking the problem of rock burst in the fourth layer mining of the ultra-thick coal seam in Mengba Coal Mine as the research object,A systematic analysis was conducted on its main controlling factors of rock burst,aiming to reveal the law of mine vibration,and exploring effective prevention and control strategies.The study found that the"T"coal pillar structure in the mining area is the key fac-tor causing the fourth layer of rock burst.In addition,after the first layer of backfilling,the ultra-thick key rock layers were not complete-ly broken,resulting in insufficient protection of the goaf in the first layer and increasing the risk of impact in subsequent layers.The op-timization design and prevention and control measures for the fourth layer of Mengba Coal Mine were proposed,including optimizing the layout of roadways,setting reasonable mining speed,terminal line blasting technology,and the application of large-diameter pressure re-lief drilling.Practice has proven that these comprehensive prevention and control measures can significantly reduce the risk of rock burst in the fourth layer mining.This research not only provides solid support for the safe production of the fourth layer in Mengba Coal Mine,but also provides reference and inspiration for the safe mining of ultra-thick coal seams under similar conditions.
