Abstract

The properties of raw coal have an important influence on the reactivity of coal liquefaction.It is of great practical significance to systematically study the liquefaction reactivity of Shendong coal and its macerals for guiding the selection of coal for liquefaction and optimizing liquefaction conditions.High-purity separation of macerals in Shendong coal was achieved by centrifugal separation,and the basic characteristics of macerals were studied.The liquefaction reactivities of raw coal,concentrated vitrinite and concentrated inertinite in Shendong coal were compared by autoclave experiments.The results showed that concentrated vitrinite of 97.5%could be obtained when the centrif-ugal separation densities were 1.322-1.328 g/cm3,while concentrated inertinite of 96.8%could be obtained when the centrifugal separation densities were 1.372-1.380 g/cm3,respectively.In the process of liquefaction reaction,there may be synergistic effect between the macerals.The hydro-liquefaction reactivity of coal could be well character-ized by efficiency of hydrogen.The asphaltene yield was highest in raw coal,the water yield was the highest in con-centrated vitrinite,and the gas yield was highest in concentrated inertinite.The liquefaction reactivity and efficiency of hydrogen were the highest in raw coal,followed by concentrated vitrinite,the concentrated inertinite was the lowest.
