Abstract

In recent years,with the popularity of SUP,leisure tourism of still-water SUP has become a new trend.Regarding the selection of water areas for the coconut grove SUP on Coconut Island,Lingshui,Hainan Province,atten-tion should be paid to the purity of water quality and the safety of water areas,and efforts should be made to improve the landscape quality on the basis of protecting the local ecology.In order to ensure the sustainable development of Coco-nut Island in the later stage,it is necessary to carry out a scientific and reasonable functional zoning of the activity site and the layout of facilities,and at the same time,to improve infrastructure and club services to enhance tourists'satis-faction and the attractiveness of the destination.The activity water area is divided into ecological protection area,navi-gable area and tourism activity area.The tourism activity area should be further divided into launching and landing docks,teaching area and tourist activity area.During the event,the tourist activity area is further subdivided into the free activity area and the racing area,and the two kinds of areas are used in combination during non-event periods.The introduction of a variety of water sports aims to enrich tourists'experiences.Through these measures,Coconut Island will provide more diversified and high-quality tourism experiences.
