Abstract
Bridge cranes in the slab yard of a hot rolling mill operates in a high-temperature environment,characterized by intense radiation,a severe operating environment,and heavy workloads.Crane failure resulting from structural cracks is a common problem faced by all steel companies.The temperature field in the working environment influences the formation and propagation of these cracks.This study focuses on the fillet cracks around the hatch of 16+16 t bridge cranes in the hot-rolled slab yard of a steel mill.By using finite element software,a model of the crane bridge structure was established to analyze the influence of the temperature field on the structure and identify root causes of cracks.This study provides a theoretical basis for the reinforcement and improvement of such cranes.关键词
